Heading to Nationals!

So, Little Dribblers Basketball continues for another month! Ben's team got second place at the Regional Tourney this past weekend. After losing in the first round - to the team that ended up winning it - the boys had to win out, ultimately beating every other team in the tourney to place second and advance to the National Tournament in Franklin, Texas. (April 20-23rd - the SAME week as Ava's Little Miss Dogwood pageant, Easter weekend AND the week before TAKS testing - multi-task, multi-task, multi-task!) This team just seems to keep improving with each game. We are so proud of them. (And, what a handsome group, eh? Thanks for the pictures Ashley Day!) GO BULLDOGS!

Birthday Breakfast at IHOP!

Despite having to get up very EARLY on a day off from school (Aunt Kelley had to be at work by 8) the kids were all smiles at IHOP! Can you believe we have been blessed with Meggie Brett for TEN years now! What a blessing!

SPRING BREAK in Maumelle, AR

The timing of our Spring Break this year allowed us to come to Arkansas to visit the Atwood's for Megan's 10th birthday. (Spending time with the cousins is a popular vacation destination with our family!) We enjoyed a yummy dinner at Wok-a Wok-a (thanks Uncle Hayes) then came home for cake and ice cream. (Any  guess what color the icing was???) Aunt Kelley and I were asleep on the couch by 9pm, the kids lasted AT LEAST four more hours! Megan's friend Maisy joined us. Lots of laughing, giggling, and the occassional  ear piercing scream! And, of course, the boys were back up and at it about 6:45am.
